Isaac & Nicole

Since tying the knot on October of 2004, Isaac Kearns and his wife, Nicole have dedicated themselves to building a life of service and community in Yamhill County. As a local business owner, Isaac is well-known for his work with Landscaping & Christmas Decor. Where he takes pride and excellence in transforming local homes and businesses into beautiful havens, bringing holiday joy to his neighbors.

Beyond his professional life, Isaac serves as a leader at his local church, working alongside Nicole to support and mentor young adults in the McMinnville area.

At the heart of their world is family, along with their daughter McKenna, they carry with them the memory of their son Ethan, in everything they do. Ethan’s brave spirit and the incredible outpouring of love from Yamhill County community continue to fuel Isaac’s commitment to giving back. Through his business and his involvement with the See You Later Foundation, Isaac remains focused on honoring Ethan’s legacy by strengthening the community that has stood by his family so faithfully.

Caleb & Cressie

Since marrying his wife Cressie in 2015, Caleb Kearns has focused on combining his love for family with his expert craftmanship in Yamhill County. At C and D Custom Construction, he finds great satisfaction in managing every detail of every project. From building fully functional outdoor kitchens and custom BBQ islands to constructing durable patio covers that allow families to enjoy their backyards year-round. He is particularly known for his attention to the finishing touches to ensure every structure is as polished as it is functional.

Caleb’s technical work is balanced by a deep commitment to his neighbors. He currently volunteers at See Ya Later Foundation, where he carries on a family tradition of supporting local youth and families in need. For Caleb, the true value of C and D Custom Construction is in creating lasting spaces where the community can gather and families can grow closer together.

Our Legacy

Established in 1977 by Calvin and Deborah Kearns, C and D Landscape Company grew from a single truck and trailer into a cornerstone of the Yamhill County. After overcoming early challenges, Cal’s determination to provide high-quality service led to decades of steady growth and prestigious recognitions, including the Excellence in Family Business Award from Oregon State University. This legacy of hard work and community service has seen the company expand to employ area residents and operate out of a custom-built three-acre facility that serves as a living showcase of their craft.

While Cal has since passed away, his family remains faithful to the excellence and foundational values he established. They are honored to carry his legacy into the future, keeping the family at the heart and soul of the company while maintaining the deep relationships within Yamhill County that have always been at the core of their mission. By blending their father's original vision with a modern focus on quality service, they ensure that C and D will continue to honor his memory for generations to come.
